The Big Room, described by one visitor as “Heswall’s answer to the London Palladium” is our very own contemporary music, comedy and live entertainment venue inside Heswall Hall. 

Now with radically upgraded lighting, concert sound and innovative layouts, we transform the hall into a vibrant location for some of the best local, and not so local, musicians, artists and comedians to provide something exciting for everyone. 

A unique feature of the Big Room is the flexible, spacious performance area with its three stages, including one of the largest traditional theatre stages on The Wirral. Whether it’s a traditional concert or an intimate “in the round” production, we can do what others only wish for. 

Our monthly events include: 

The Big Room – Three Bands Live – a Jools Holland style arrangement with three stages and acts playing in continuous rotation. This is where we started and what we are now widely known for. Food, bar, great musicians and a great community atmosphere.

The Big Room Comedy Club – up close and personal with three professional comedians and a host / MC. Night club style environment, great food and well-stocked bar at reasonable prices. 

Big Stage Concerts – Monthly, all genre, tributes and original artists, on a big stage with concert lighting and lighting effects.
